Originated from Tibetan plateau Sun Koshi River rolls on through Himalayas, Mahabharata ranges, green valleys to the Ganges of India. The major tributary of Dudh Koshi is Indravati River, which meets with Dudh Koshi in Dolalghat, the entry point of rafting.

The religiously sacred river Sun Koshi is also enriched by enchanting view of natural landscapes, glimpse of rustic way of life and religious value of rivers. The 8 days rafting begins from Dolalghat, three hours driving distance from Kathmandu and ends in Chatara a holy place in Sunsari district. On the beginning of rafting we will be rewarded by enchanting views of snow capped mountains, green valleys, endless terraces of vegetable farming and paddy fields both sides of river, then we will see tropical forest, wider sand beaches and  lush green fields of plain area. 

8 days Sunkoshi River expedition begins with sightseeing of cultural, religious and historical heritages of Kathmandu valley, then, we drive to Dolalghat, the entry point next day.  From second day to 9th day we continuously raft for 272 km with full of exciting moments. Every day camping in sandy beach with campfire and beach games gives your extra fun along with rating and kayaking.

Start your journey at 7:00 am, departing for the rafting starting point at Dolal Ghat. Enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive to Dolalghat, the beginning of your rafting adventure. Spend a short rafting session in Tarang Gaon.

Raft from Bonjur Ghat to Barahchhatra for about 6 hours. Experience a mix of fun-filled rapids and calm, undulating floats. We will catch bus to Kathmandu and next day morning we will arrive in Kathmandu or if you book flight ticket from Biratnagar to Kathmandu, we will drop you at Biratnagar airport.
